The graphs below compare the change of a popular tourist site in a particular city between 2000 and 2010.
It is evident that there was numerous new infrastructure constructed over the 10 years, while the toilet and heritage railway still remained.
In 2000, there was a gift shop adjacent to the green space. A toilet located in the riverbank, not far from the gift shop, and a heritage railway to the eastern part of the map.
A decade later, the heritage railway was still an iconic landmark for this tourist destination, and the toilet had been reserved. By contrast, the original gift shop was replaced by a sculpture, and the green zone planted more trees. Meanwhile, a guardrail was newly constructed along the river, and a cafe was built next to the toilet. To the west of the heritage railway, the zone was allocated for housing areas, with a hotel and parking space being constructed.
