The pair of maps presented illustrate a village park, over a 10-year period.
Overall, the village park has developed substantially into a more complex area with cycle path surrounding. Similarly, amenities and entertainments increased along with the bigger capacity for tourists.
Car park and tennis courts, although still stayed the same spot over 10 years, were enlarged by 30 cars and 2 courts, respectively. The children’s play area was quite large, however later was narrowed on the top of the map. Then two blocks of children’s soft play area and toilets were erected consecutively from the children’s play area. Football pitch experienced no changes in the position but be dwindled.
Following redevelopment, it can be seen pond was demolished for the new area of boating lake. Behind the boating lake segment was the café, to the southeast corner of the map. Besides, the new picnic area was constructed to the left of the football pitch.
