The maps illustrate the current layout of an industrial zone as well as its redevelopment plan.
Overall, this site will be transformed into a residential region in the future, with the addition of new accommodations, at the expense of a factory and offices.
At present, there is an entrance and reception in the north, located on Chimney Road. Across from these areas are six office blocks, associated with a small canteen. To the east of these working areas is an industrial plant, while to the east emerges a storage. These sites are positioned in parallel with Swallow Street. Adjacent to the storage is an elliptical parking space, which appears east of Toe Lane.
Regarding the future plans, there will be three two-bedroom dwellings incorporating communal gardens at the cost of the entrance and reception. The parking garages are projected to move to the south, replacing the offices. Moving eastward along the public parking area is an apartment with its own parking zone, while to the west of the garages is another housing area hosting a three-bedroom and a four-bedroom abode, taking the place of the previous parking section. Finally, there is expected to be a private road system traversing through all facilities in the area, improving residents’ connectivity.
