Overall, the industrial site will be significantly transformed in the future into an accommodation area, with the introduction of houses and other public facilities at the expense of offices and factories.
With regard to the present layout, a yard is placed in the heart of the map, encircled by other buildings. The parking area is situated to the west of the map, in parallel to the factory in the southeast corner. The southern section features two clusters of offices, with a canteen occupying two blocks of offices in the right bottom corner. Next to them is a storage, located right below the parking lot. Additionally, the entrance and reception building is placed along the Chimney Road, providing access to the site from this street.
Turning to the future development plan, the area will be entirely renovated with the addition of numerous accommodation facilities.The central yard and a part of the old storage will be converted into communal gardens as well as a private road exclusively for residents, running along the front and side of the area. On the western side, a residential building comprising three- and four-bedroom houses for families will be erected to replace the previous parking area, while the eastern area will feature a new apartment building and parking area at the expense of the former factory. The entrance and reception in the northern part of the site will give its place to three double-bedroom houses. Lastly, parking garages will be constructed along Swallow Street, replacing the office blocks, canteen, and the remaining storage facility.
