In detail, the bookstore in 2000 had book sections for Art, Hobbies, and Cookery in the central area. Customers could find the service desk to the south of the entrance upon entering. Fiction section occupied both the far north and east sides, with Non-fiction in the south.
After redesigning the layout of the bookstore, the area witnesses dramatic changes. Non-fiction section, which has been moved to the east side, is replaced by the café with the addition of the tables in the center. This table section takes over the Art, Hobbies, and Cookery sections which have been relocated as a row to the north side of Travel and New books sections. These two sections remain unchanged next to the service desk and the entrance respectively. The Fiction section, which previously filled the largest space of the area, is now contracted in between the Cookery and Non-fiction sections.
