These maps illustrate the changes of a bookstore from 2000 to the present.
Overall, it is obvious that tables and chairs are installed in the center of the bookstore in order to create space for reading books. Also, the fiction shelf to the left of the entrance is divided into four categories.
Firstly, there were some types of books, including art, hobbies and cookery in the middle of the store in 2000. However, tables and chairs are replaced these shelves at the moment. In the past, there were a lot of spaces for fiction on the left side of the room. Today, not only non-fiction is moved from the right side to the left corner of the room but also art, hobbies, cookery are added to the left side. The fiction is smaller than before, between cookery and non-fiction categories.
Another change is the non-fiction was replaced by the cafe. Others are still in the same place: travel books are opposite the entrance, service desk is on the right corner of the bookstore and new books are between them.
