The two maps depict the layout of a bookstore in 2000 and its changes in the present day. Overall, the bookstore has undergone some significant changes, including the relocation of many book sections and the addition of a cafe and various seating areas.
Starting with the north side of the map, where most of the changes occured. In the year 2000, the fiction bookshelf was the largest section of the whole bookstore; now it has been divided into four parts, with the fiction only a quarter of the area along with arts, hobbies and cookery books. The additional eastern part of the previous fiction section has been replaced for the non-fiction books.
Moving down to the rest of the map, on the eastern side of the central area, where there used to be three bookshelves for art, hobbies, and cookery, has now been arranged to become a communal seating area for customers with three tables and several surrounding benches. Heading to the south side is the area for non-fiction books in 2000; now with various modifications has become a small cafe. The entrance with the service desk as well as the travel area and the new books has remained untouched.
