Overall, this riverside city has recorded significant changes, especially in residential zoning, landscape, and local transport. Besides, there are virtually no changes in the locations of the major road and river.
Located in the north of the city, a small residential zone was home to 20,000 individuals in 1950. Besides, the business district was in the middle of the map, and half of it was surrounded by a housing area. From the north to the south were three major roads; one led to the airport situated on the right side, another headed south, connected by a bridge, and led to the government building. Passing through the bridge was a river flowing from the west to the south of the city.
At present, the city’s population has climbed to 200,000 people, causing the residential zone to expand substantially in all directions. Besides, the river has been split into two small lakes. Not only the river but also the road has changed; a new road connecting the south and the east has been built, while the airport has also increased significantly in size. Under one lake is the government building, which has been established around the housing zone.
