The first map illustrates an industrial estate located in Norbiton, and the second one shows how it will be developed in the future.
Overall, the estate is going to be converted into a residential area by the removal of factories and the placing of residences as well as other facilities, instead.
All factories will make way for housing property in the development plan. The street will be expanded with one more square in the south of the town, and some additional streets will lead off the original square at the center. A bridge over the river at the north is going to facilitate the spread of the road to the farmland so that people living in the housing area there have access to the downtown.
A number of facilities are considered to be added as well. A school is being constructed at the far east of the estate. A playground will be developed just before the river on the northeast side, turning off the main road. In addition, a medical center and shops are also going to be built on the southeast and southwest sides of the main square, respectively.
