The maps depict an industrial area in the town of Norbiton, and its future development that planned out. Overall, it will be converted from an industrial area into a residential town with all kinds of educational, medical and recreational facilities.
The most prominent changes is the expansion of traffic lines. A smaller roundabout will be built in the south side of old bigger one. At the same time, a bridge will be constructed across the river to the north side of the town. Additionally, old factories along the roads will be demolished, while new housing facilities will be built up along the main streets in the centre and north part of the town.
There are also extensive construction to the recreational, educational and medical facilities to the town: 1. at the east end of the central roundabout is a new school; 2. along the northeast branch of housing is a playground; 3. Shops are in the southwest corner of the town, facing the central roundabout; 4. Medical centre is at the conjunction between the central roundabout and a newly-built one.
