The diagrams illustrate how the ground floor of an art gallery has developed between 2005 and present day.
Overall, dramatic changes have occurred in this area with the addition of several new facilities and rooms.
In 2005, the art gallery had a different layout. In the middle, there was a hall entering through the entrance in the southern side of the plan. A reception desk was located along the hall, in the front of the stairs at the back. There were three adjacent exhibition rooms, numbered 1,2, and 3 to the east of the hall. On the western side, a coffee shop was situated on the upper corner, next to the gallery office. Moreover, exhibition room 4 was the most spacious room, taking up the entire southwest corner.
Currently, the most notable change has been the addition of a wheelchair ramp outside the art gallery, leading to the entrance. The reception desk has been moved to the center of the grand hall to be more convenient for visitors. On the northern side, a lift has been constructed to the right of the stairs. Especially, on the right-hand corner, the three rooms remain the same. However, on the opposite side, the location has witnessed significant alterations. The cafe has been replaced by a gallery shop with a smaller size, while the gallery office has been demolished to make way for a vending machine. Finally, the exhibition room 4 has been divided into two rooms: a children’s area on the lower left-hand corner and a temporary exhibition next to that.
