The maps illustrate the transformation of an art gallery from 2005 to present.
Overall, this art gallery has undergone notable changes to meet the domestic interaction over the given period, with the introduction of new amenities, at the expense of one exhibited room.
In 2005, the ground floor of the art gallery functioned into specific spaces. Three exhibition rooms were adjacent to each other and located on the right side of the entrance, with stairs to the upper floor positioned at the middle far end of the layout. On the opposite side, a fourth sizable exhibition room situated in the front, followed by a marginal gallery office. At the top left corner of the layout, the cafe, which was equipped with the shop, was built. Looking at the midway of the structure, an entrance hall followed by the entrance and was opposite to the rectangular reception desk.
At present, the previous three exhibitions and the cafe and shop have remained unchanged throughout the given period. The exhibition 4 has been converted into a children’s area and the old gallery office has been expanded and given its place to new temporary exhibitions. The initial stairs have been reduced in its size to make way for a lift that is convenient for elderly customers. The entrance hall and reception desk have been exchanged places together. Notably, the former rectangular desk has been renovated to the circular one.
