Overall, the department became significantly more modernized and industrialized, with major changes made to its general layout. This transformation included the introduction of the IT center and car park, which replaced several existing features. In addition, some areas, such as these seminar rooms one, two, and three, and the office room, were relocated during this period.
In 1980, the department offered only a few basic facilities. Individuals entered from the south, where they could focus attend events with a specific topic and often a keynote speaker to lead the discussion at the lecture hall. On the right side of the office was a temporary library room. Behind the seminar room in the bottom right corner was a small garden with trees, where students could sit and do many things. They usually talked, took photos, and sometimes studied together.
By 2010, the layout had been significantly modernized. Although the seminar room one, two and three relocated in the same place in the westrn and eastern side, however, the two seminar rooms seminar four and five wew constructed to the north of the existing ones, creating a larger academic area. The library was moved to the far northeast and connected to a newly built IT centre. Additionaly, the area that once contained trees was replaced by a new car park, and the corridor was extended northwards to provide access to the new rooms.
