The two maps illustrate how the ground floor plan of a university building had been changed from 1980 to 2010.
Overall, the ground floor had been expanded over the given period, marked by the introduction of new facilities at the expense of the garden.
Looking first at the layout in 1980, the T-junction occupied the southern, and to the north of this space was the main entrance. Upon it, one could see a corridor, which was flanked by five rooms. The seminar room 1 and 2 (S1 and S2) were located to the left of it, while the office, library and S3 were on the right. There also were gardens to the east of this department.
Moving on to the 2010 map, there had been a minimal change of the plan. The new S4 had been adjacent to S2, with the introduction of S5 on the other side of the hallway, next to S3, while the library had been moved to the new buildings. To the east of the main entrance, there was a new car park. The gardens had been demolished to give its place to the IT centre, linked with the library by a corridor.
