The two maps illustrate the changes made to Colwick Arts Centre between 2005 and the present day.
Overall, the area was significantly developed with new facilities, and the previously unused wasteland was transformed into an outdoor exhibition space.
In 2005, the centre had a concert hall and cinema located in the northeast, two galleries in the east, and facilities like a snack bar, a meeting room, a toilet, and an information desk in the west. A large area in the middle was wasteland.
By today, the centre has undergone major changes. The wasteland was removed and replaced with meeting rooms 1 and 2, a drama studio, and a central exhibition area. The snack bar was replaced with a café. The toilet and information desk were relocated. A large outdoor exhibition and performance area, along with a stage and many trees, was added to the south. The cinema and concert hall were slightly rearranged, but retained.
