The maps illustrate that how colwick arts centre has changed recentely.
Overall, It can be clearly seen that arts centre has gone through many changes such as cinema and concert hall are now split at other locations. Wasteland has converted to green area with many tress along with exhibition hall.
In past, there was a snack bar situated at the left corner of the arts centre, followed by a meeting room and toilet in straight down side. The centre was dominated by cinema/concert hall. At right side of the centre there was gallery 2 and gallery 1. In the south side there was a huge wasteland.
In present, a cafe has been added at the bottom of west side. Concert hall/ cinema is replaced by central exhibition area and snack bar, meeting room, and toilet are also replaced by gallery. The wasteland is converted to outdoor exhibition and performance area surrounded by green belt. Concert hall is now situated at the place of gallery 1 and gallery 2 along with cinema hall at its left corner. Toilet is transfered to right corner under the concert hall.
