The two maps demonstrate the changes at Colwick Arts Centre from 2005 to the present.
It is clear that many changes have been made to this centre, making it larger and more modern.
On the left-hand side of the centre, the snack bar has been replaced by a cafe, which is now located next to the information desk. The meeting room has been divided into two smaller meeting rooms in the upper left-hand corner of the centre. The toilet has become smaller and has been moved to the right-hand side of the centre. The two galleries have been combined into one larger gallery on the left-hand side of the centre. The former concert hall and cinema have been separated, with the concert hall located on the right of the centre and the cinema situated next to it. A new central exhibition area has been constructed in the middle of the arts centre. A new drama studio has been added between Meeting Room 1 and the cinema. The information desk remains unchanged.
The most noticeable change can be seen in the southern part of the centre. The wasteland has been transformed into an outdoor exhibition and performance area with a large stage. In addition, trees have been planted around this area.
