The two maps illustrate the present layout of Hunderstone town and its planned alterations.
Overall, the proposed plan shows significant urban development aiming to improve connectivity and infrastructure, with the introduction of an industrial estate, along with an enhanced transport network.
In the north west section, the air field is expected to be removed to make room for a new industrial estate. This new industrial facility will be connected directly to the railway system, which runs vertically along the middle of the town. Moving towards the middle area of the town, an additional roundabout will be constructed at the existing intersection of the railway and the road that connects the old roundabout with the town center, located to the east of the town. In addition, no changes will be made to the gas station, which is positioned on the southern side of the new roundabout.
Regarding transportation infrastructure, the current build-up area ring road around the town center will be partially removed, with only the northern section being retained. Additionally, a new ring road called A4 will be built on the southern side of Hunderstone town, creating connections between the A2 route, the railway, and the southern part of the town center. This A4 road will be extended to the eastern side of the town center, running parallel to the railway to the north.
