The layouts illustrate how a part of a village had changed for 100 years, from 1910 to 2010. Overall, this area was set to undergo significant changes, with the most remarkable ones being the disappearance of green space and the addition of residential houses, facilities.
In 1910, School Road gave access to the cluster of buildings on its eatern side, including School, Butcher and a house. After 100 years, the School had still remained, while the Butcher had been demolished to make way for a Parking and an enormouse Supermarket, and the House had converted into a Bank. Another striking change is the Post Office at the T-junction corner in the north had remained, whereas more Houses had been built along London Road.
In the center triangle formed by the intersection of three roads had a large House surrounded by the trees. A large house had been destroyed and the trees had been chopped down to make way for a residential area. From 1910 to 2010, the Grocer had been replaced by a Cafe and House had been built on the original site of the Baker. In addition, a new road was constructed from London Road to access this area. Finally, there are two additional houses had been built in the south of the High Street.
