The pictures show the transformation of a village over a gap of 100 years.
In overall, more residents have moved to the area, which has tremendously increased the number of housing units beside the main routes, as well as the replacement of new facilities which result in the cutdowns of trees.
Locating on the West side, there had once stood a butcher shop right in the middle of School Road, school on its left-handed and an isolated house on its right. Now they were replaced by the supermarket within the parking lot, as well as the reconstruction of the old home into a bank ; however, the school remained intact.
Looking down to the High Street, more residences were installed alongside, in opposite was a new cafe in replacement of the old grocery, with the deconstructed baker nearby for a single house. In addition, a row of houses were built on the East, on London road, leading ahead that Northeast had been a post office, it was not removed . Lastly, the large house located in the centre, fenced with trees had been taken down for space; finally for a small branch of London road and a plenty of additional houses.
