The map below shows a part of the town of Poulton during 1990 and 2021.
In 1990, Poulton was considered a neighbourhood that held terraced houses mostly. Poulton town had 2 different streets Trent Street and Bayley Street in 1990. On the north side of the town of Poulton there was a factory along with a wasteland, east side had a shop, laundry, and a cafe and lastly the south side of the town had something that was different a railway line along with a cottage for the railway workers’.
Poulton in 2021 was amazingly fully changed they replaced terraced houses with falts and changed Trent Street to Bayley Street. The factory and wasteland was changed to mansions but they kept the cafe and laundry. Along with that the south side was fully replaced with a park and children’s play area. New lane is now a third street they added that has 3 shops now.
