Band 4: The maps below show the center of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 1 Sample)

The provided two maps illustrate the present of a little town centre which name is Islip, as well as designs for its reconstruction.

Overall, it is clear that the Islip town centre will be go through a significant change over the period. The most noticeable changes will be on the construction of a shopping centre, car parking, new housing, bus station and dual carriageway.

In the round of the plan it will become oval by a road which is very remarkable changes. However, shopping centre and car parking will be built in the northern area. Besides that, a bus station on the northwest side will be constructed. Moreover, new housing will be made on northeast area.

On the other hand, housing and school will be consistent in the same place on south side as well as park. Although park area will be little reduce on there. In the middle of the design shop area will be unchanged. There are number of places will be constructed too which is dual carriageway and pedestrians way. Dual carriageway will be built on
