Observing the overall planning it is readily apparent that Islip town centre will be witnessing significant progress over the time with the inclusion of several facilities including roads, new housing, car parking, bus station and so on.
In detail, there will be a dramatic changes in the Islip town soon after the planning is achieved into a reality. The main factor that completely changes the map of the town is the splendid planning of road. Due to a huge traffic, a new ring road will be built across the town to manage the traffic conditions whereas the main road passing between the shops will be completely demolished to make a pedestrians way. The shops which are on the northern part of the main road will be completely knocked down to introduce several places such as bus station, shopping centre, car park and a new accommodation arena.
The school which is located at the south of the town will be little expanded as it is expected to rise in number of pupils after the introduction of new ring road just passing through it. The southern and central housing of Islip town which are not connected by a road at present will be getting access to a ring road in the future with the addition of new housing too. The shops on north of the current main road and center of the town will remain unchanged whereas the park in the southeast of the town will be relocated just behind these shops with the major cut-off in size of almost one-fourth of the current one. Also, dual carriageway will be introduced in the town through the west.
