The maps demonstrate the transformation experienced by the city of Wetherby at the start of the 21st century. Overall, it can be seen that all town had the significant urban development.
In 2000, the farmland was built on the northwest part of the township, but by 2016, it had been replaced by a house complex. The disused car factory was demolished for techno park on the northeast. The north sight and the center have not a global changed. It has only the little urbanisation, like the open-air food market was changed by supermarket and the houses to block of flats, also on the square appeared the trees. The woodland have stayed same. The house with garden expanded to hotel with spa on the left hand side and the shops was transformed by multi-storey car park.
In 2000, the southern coast of the village was dominated by cottages with garden, but by 2016, it had been replaced by a large office block.
