The given pictures illustrate the way in which the layout of the Art Gallery ground floor has changed since 2015 for renovation purposes.
Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that some old features have been still there, whereas others such as Exhibition room 4 and Cafe have all relocated. Additionally, over the period of Art Gallery, from 2015 to present day, the place has undergone number of dramatic changes in terms of facilities with the introduction of new features such as Gallery shop, Vending machine, Temporary exhibition, Children’s area, lift, ramp for wheel chair and Entrance Hall.
Currently, the entrance and the stairs have been kept intact, and so have the Exhibition room 1, Exhibition room 2 and the Exhibition room 3 to the right of the entrance gate runs along the wall and adjoining area for receptionist. However, lift was erected, adjoin stairs and Exhibition room 3, opposite the entrance. Besides, Entrance Hall in the center ground floor, below receptionist was constructed. Similarities, ramp for wheel chair in front of the entrance has been improved.
At the present day, changes have been made to other features, the most noticeable of which is the Cafe located in corner of the Art Gallery in the past but present day it has converted to Gallery shop. Besides, Gallery office located adjoin Cafe and Exhibition room 4 in the past, now it has displaced to Vending machine. And one of the strongest changes was Exhibition room 4, in the previous past, it was located in corner of ground floor and left side of the entrance, now Exhibition room 4 was resettled to Temporary exhibition and Children’s area.
