The given maps depict the modifications made to the art gallery from 2005 to the present day. Overall, the art gallery is undergoing significant changes, with the most noticeable being a replacement of the cafe for the gallery shop, along with the addition of an entrance hall.
Both three exhibition rooms, including 1,2, and 3, have remained in their original position in both 2005 and at present, whereas the stairs have narrowed to make way for the lift. Moreover, the cafe, which used to be situated in the top left corner of the gallery in 2005, is demolished and replaced by a gallery shop at present.
Following the redevelopment, a temporary exhibition and children’s area are added at the left of the gallery, where previously there was exhibition 4. The gallery office, which was located between exhibition 4 and the old cafe, has also been removed and the area now is occupied by the vending machine. Meanwhile, the receptionist has been moved closer to the centre of the entrance hall, and the ramp for wheel chair is added next to the entrance.
