The maps illustrate the modifications made to the ground floor layout of an art gallery between 2005 and the present day.
Overall, the most significant changes have occurred on the left side of the building, where spaces have been redesigned to enhance visitor experience. Notably, new facilities have been added to accommodate specific groups, with a dedicated children’s area replacing the former cafe, and accessibility improvements including a lift and wheelchair ramp.
Looking at the left side of the gallery, the cafe, which used to be located in the top left corner in 2005, has been completely replaced by the gallery office, which has been relocated from the center-left to this position. The original gallery office space is now occupied by a vending machine. Furthermore, exhibition room 4, located at the bottom left in 2005, has been eliminated to make room for a children’s area.
Regarding the right side and central areas, exhibition rooms 1, 2, and 3 have maintained their original positions. However, several modifications have been made to improve functionality: the stairs have been shifted slightly to the left to accommodate a new lift installation, while the receptionist area has been repositioned closer to the entrance for better visitor assistance. In addition, a wheelchair ramp has been added at the main entrance to make the area more accessible for visitors with disabilities.
