The two maps illustrate the changes made to the ground floor of the art gallery between 2015 and the present day. Overall, the gallery has been modernized and made more visitor-friendly, with the introduction of new facilities such as a shop, a lift, and a children’s area, while some original features, including the café and the office, have either been reduced in size or completely removed.
In the left-hand section, the former café has been reduced in size and replaced by a gallery shop. The office has been demolished, and its area has been divided into two new spaces: a vending machine corner and a temporary exhibition room. Meanwhile, part of exhibition room 4 has been converted into a children’s area, making the gallery more suitable for family visitors.
In the central part of the floor, the reception desk remains in its original position, although it has been slightly relocated towards the entrance hall. A new lift has been installed next to the existing staircase, improving accessibility for all visitors. The entrance hall itself has remained unchanged. By contrast, the right-hand section, including exhibition rooms 1, 2, and 3, has not undergone any modification.
