The maps illustrate the changes that took place in the layout of a museum between 1998 and 2008.
Overall, the museum layout underwent significant alterations and became more modern with the introduction of fountains featuring an outdoor area for the café and a restaurant. Another notable change was that the permanent exhibition room on the left of the site disappeared due to the relocation of the shops and a coatroom. Notably, the ticket area, exit and entrance remained in the same location, whereas the café was reduced in size
In 1998, the museum’s floor plan featured a cafe and a garden in the central part of the site. The temporary exhibition room occupied the lower-left section, adjacent to the ticket area, entrance and exit. On the right-hand side, there was a shop, while a WC, and coatroom were situated further to the right.
By 2008, the area had undergone several significant changes. Firstly, the temporary exhibition room was relocated to the upper-left section, whereas the shops and coatroom were moved to the lower part of the museum. Afterwards, the ticket area, exit, and entrance remained intact, while the café was reduced in size. Other alterations included the addition of several fountains to the heart of the map featuring an outdoor area for the café at the top. Meanwhile, a new restaurant was added to the top left, whereas the WC was relocated to the top center of the site.
