The maps illustrate the transformation of Grange Park from its establishment in 1920 to its current state.
Overall, the park has been significantly modernized, shifting from a traditional garden layout to a more functional public space. While the main access points remain unchanged, almost all original interior features have been replaced or relocated.
In 1920, the park’s center was dominated by a fountain, which has since been replaced by a rose garden. The original stage for musicians on the western side has been converted into a much larger amphitheater for concerts. Additionally the rose gardens previously situated in the corners have been consolidated or moved to the center.
Regarding the eastern and southern sections the pond for water plants and the glasshouse were demolished to make way for a children’s play area a café, and an entrance to an underground car park.
