The maps compare the alterations that have occurred at the waterfront area of town Darwin in 2009 and 2014. Overall, while there are some places which remained the same in both years ( school, fishing area), parts of both industrial areas converted into different places. Moreover, the number of residential areas increased.
In 2009, there was a circle surrounded by the footpath, in the circle below a lake were 3 trees and on the left-hand side of a circle industrial area was situated. Moreover, there was a school building nearby the junction, next to which the conventional center was located. The Southern west part of a map was devoted to the industrial area above which were 3 residential facilities. On the northern east fishing area was situated ahead of swimming pools and sea.
In 2014, while 3 trees and a lake remained intact inside of a circle, the swimming pool was demolished and industrial areas were built. In addition, the school, conventional center and junction remained the same after 5 years. The number of residential buildings doubled from 3 to 6, whereas the industrial areas in the middle of a map were converted into green spaces. Also, footpath was built leading to a constructed harbor. Furthermore, the remaining figures of the fishing area, swimming pool and sea did not see any change.
