The two maps illustrate the present situation and expected developments in Willowby Village by 2040.

Overall, the village is proposed to become more urbanized than today, with advanced infrastructures and additional facilities. The village is expected to be less agricultural and it seem to appear more congested than today.

By 2040, there will be more houses in the unused land in the west of the village, and village hall will get expanded into community hub. Meanwhile, corner shop will get transformed into community health centre, with addition of EV charging hub beside it.

In the east side of the town, sports centre will replace the sports field, and in the south they have planned to add solar farm in the fields by destroying the hotels. They have also proposed establishment of food management wetland in the east along the river, with a new cycle path. However, some structures like the church, the swan, and the road network will remain the same.
