In 1930,farmland occupied the two sides of the road till to the river Stoke.In the middle of the village, there was a one road with a bridge.Among the road, there were some houses beside them.At the center of a village, there were gardens with large house in it.
Over the years,village of Stokeford has experienced sighificant modernizations.The most noticeable of them is extendng of road demolishing shops and gardens,while Primary School has undergone some additions.Furthermore, Farmlands have been modified and there appeared a lot of living houses.Another striking change is replacing of the large house to the retirement house.The only thing that remained unchanged is Post office and bridge.
