The image shows two maps comparing Stokeford in 1930 and 2010. In 1930, Stokeford has a bridge to the north over River Stoke, with farmland on either side, and a road leading southeast from the bridge to a post office, shops, and a large house southeast, with a primary school and gardens further east; two distinct areas of farmland are present. In 2010, the map features the same bridge and river location but with significantly less farmland, a notable increase in residential housing replacing previous farmland especially east of the primary school, a newly introduced retirement home north of the primary school, and the primary school maintains a similar position, with roads more connected forming more loops and links.

The two maps illustrates the changes in the village of Stokeford between 1930 and 2010.
Overall, Stokeford became more residence-oriented with the addition of residencial areas, the expansion of educational facilities and rodes for people.
In 1930, Stokeford was mainly filled with farmland and empty spaces. In the north side, a few houses and shops can be seen with a post office just below them. The primary school is right above the massive garden in the area with a large home.
Since that time, Stokeford has undergone major redevelopment. With the removal of the shops and garden, many houses have been added all around the village stretching from the north to the south side, filling up the empty farmland. In the east side, the large house has been repurposed to a retirement home for the elderly. Moreover, to the Northwest of it, the primary school has been expanded to the east.
