The images demonstrate the shifts of a school between 1985 and now. Overall, the school has experienced a major redevelopment. The playing fields of the school noticeably altered, becoming smaller. Moreover, the area has become more functional with adding new amenities at the expense of older ones.
In 1985, the entrance side of the school was less functional, with office, library, car park and classrooms. However, the exit side of the school was even lesser, just with classrooms and classroom block (2 storeys). In addition, behind all the facilities there were large, occupying the hall of the school playing fields.
Currently, the school has seen significant transformation. The entrance side has altered with adding new facilities, such as computer room inside of the learning resources centre, pool, fitness centre and the classrooms have been replaced instead of the library and part of the playing fields. Also, the car park and road going to playing fields have been completely removed. However, a gradual increase has been observed in the number of students’ population from 1500 to 2300 among this period.
