The plans below shows the comparison between The South Wing of Walton Museum in 2008 and in 2012. The stages of the south wing in 2008 only consist of two stage with five rooms. But after developing in 2012, the building has four stages in total and have double amount of room from 2008.
The most differences of the previous and the new wing is number of the stages and the rooms. The building shows improvement or grow in access and facility. In contrast to 2008, south wing has lift over the stairs to helping visitors rises all stages of the wing.
Design in 2012 shows more comfortable facilities to visitors to support the activity in each rooms. There are chidren play area, self service room, and restaurant to helps people and the parents come in waiting time and can enjoy the time properly. Also, there are another new things such as terrace and entrance hall to comforting visitor come.
The changes of the south wing is significant. But the transformation is growing up to make people come the place convinience. Moreover, the user can feel comfortable and more place can be enjoyed.
