The two maps show the extent to which the school has changed over three decades to become a more modern and built-up school.
Firstly, it is clear that transport systems have changed notably. For example, the road to the playing fields has been removed, and the car park road has been notably curved. Now, there are classrooms that are much bigger and more spacious, instead of the way that linked the playing fields.
Another noticeable change is the shortened playing fields in the school. The fields have been developed and are now the site of modern facilities like the pool, the classrooms and the fitness centre.
Finally, older buildings have been transformed into more modern facilities, the name of the library has been changed to Learning Resources Centre and split into two spaces Computer Room and a bigger classroom. Moreover, the Classroom block has been 2 storeys, and now it’s 3 storeys.
Overall, we can see that the school has been modernized a great deal, with many areas having undergone considerable change.
