Overall it is clear that Norbitonwill be transformed from an industrial zone into a residential area with various new facilities and infrastructure.
Currently, the industrial area in Norbiton predominantly consists of factories. To the west, there is a small city, while the northern part is characterized by farmlands and a flowing river. Additionally, a roundabout is positioned in the center of the area.
In the future development plan, the industrial units will be replaced by residential houses. Moreover, new amenities like shops, medical centers, a playground, and a school will be incorporated. A redesign of the roads includes a roundabout at the center of the southern road. Notably, the city area remains unchanged while agricultural land decreases, and a new bridge will connect the southern and northern parts of Norbiton.
