At a quick glance at the given maps, it is shown that the modern developments made in place in the town of Westley in timeline between 1815 to nowadays. Generally major changes are includes the Main railway station installed across the east side of the place, the Lenton Woods were cut down and replaced by the Lenton Housing Estate and former housing area were modernized into business and residential area.
First of all, all of the facilities in town, except the area of Tinton village, Lake Lenton, Market squire and Town Hall, were developed into more business-friendly environment. For example, houses by the west side of Town Hall were turned into into business and residential area and shopping centers were installed in south and center of the town.
Furthermore, the railway station and cinema were built in old fields were in east-south side of the town and old church facility was demolished and replaced by West gate shopping center. Also, the Coach Inn was turn into sports center and museum.
To conclude, the town of Westley were became more modern, suitable for small businesses and scientific place for its residents.
