The two illustrations depict the diffrences of public library’s layout in its current form and its past arrangement.
Generally, it is evident that the current look inside of the respective floor offers more widerange of amenities for visitors, dedicated rooms for events, and eateries facilities.
Looking at the map twenty years ago, the library only consisted of triplet rooms in each corner and an enquiry desk in the south east side of the floor, just right next to entrance. In the center of the room lied two tables which were surrounding with the same amount of chairs which separated the hallway of adult fiction and non-fiction books that were situated opposite to each other.
According to the recent map, only the entrance remains in its original position whilst the other has been changed. Cafe has been developed in the right-hand of the entrance where inquiry desk once was located. Moreover, there are new lecture and computer room as a replacement of childern’s books and reading site were lied back then, respectively. In between the lecture and the cafe, self-service machines are available to operate while the information desk is in front of that. However, two set of tables and chairs has been removed with sofa in the children’s fiction books room situated in the south west of the floor which surrounding storytelling events area.
