The image presents two maps of Porth Harbour comparing its layout in 2000 with the current layout. In 2000, the map shows a road leading to a car park adjacent to showers and toilets, fishing boats docked at a fishing harbour, marina yachts, a lifeboat station, a passenger ferry dock, a public beach, and a disused castle at the harbor's eastern edge. The current map depicts the addition of a new café and shops area south of the former marina yachts dock, the relocation of the showers and toilets to the vicinity of the car park, the introduction of a cruise ship dock near the previous passenger ferry dock, the transformation of the fishing harbour into a new dock, and the conversion of the castle into a hotel.

The two maps illustrate the layout of Porth Harbour in the past and alternations made in present date.
Overall, it is clearly seen that the area is has undergo various diffrent changes with the introduction of cafes & shops, showers & toilets. Also, a dock and boat has been added and disused castle is converted to a hotel.
In 2000, there was only one, dock and boat and another dock, and boat has been added now. A disused castle on the southeast has been transformed to a hotel with a private beach which was public in the 2000. Similarly, cafes & shops has been introduced beside the lifeboat and extra showers & toilets is added beside the car park in the southwest.
Moreover, marina with private yachts has been relocated in the north and the fishing boats has been relocated in the south. The place has been exchanged with each other. Also, the way to car park was facing south which has now been removed and faces the west. However, the passenger ferries, main road lifeboat, public beach and car park on northwest remains same.
