The layouts compare how Stratford changed for London Olympic games between 2007 and 2012.
Overall, it is clear that a comparision of the two maps reveals, a complete transformation from largely rural area-countryside, to mainly industrial area, with new facilities being established to the both: north and south part of the River namely, Lea. The river is right in the middle of the map.
In terms of, the aquatics center has been constructed next to train station and shopping center. Likewise, velodrome and basketball arena have been built in front of the town, and there is a path namely, London walk which connected both of them.
On the other hand, southern part of the sea, factories, warehouses, and wasteland area have been converted into Olympic Park. Instead of rural area, riverbak area which is for hockey games and olympic stadium have been built to the south of the river. The olympic stadium is located opposite the aquatic center. Similarly, the london walk is located between riverbank area and stadium.
