The image shows a comparison between a railway station layout in 1998 and the current layout. In 1998, there were two platforms with a toilet facility on the left side. There was also a cafe, a shop, and a ticket office on the right side of the platform. The current layout has the same two platforms layout, but on the left side, the toilet facility has been replaced with a restaurant and two shops. On the right side, the cafe remains, but the shop has been replaced with a larger ticket office, and a new supermarket has been added below the cafe.

The maps illustrate the changes the Pacific Railway Station has underwent from 1998 to the present. Overall, the railway station has been redesigned, more leisure buildings have been constructed, and the railway area has been expanded.
It is clear that, at the beginning there were just four platforms. However, nowadays three platforms have been built in the west area. In the past, toilets were placed in the heart of the station, but now they have been removed and replaced by a leisure area with two shops and one restaurant. With regard to the buildings located in the south east of the station, the cafe remain the same while the ticket office has been extended. The shop placed between both was pulled down and currently is no longer there.
Last but not least, in 1998 there was a land area in the south west zone. Nevertheless, today there is a supermarket.
