The maps show a small town before and after it was developed. Overall, the town underwent major changes, such as the introduction of roads, accommodations, and shops. These transformations came at the cost of farmland and vegetation, which covered the eastern side of the town. Additionally, new facilities have been constructed, including a park and care home, by removing some existing buildings. Only the post office and the mansion garden have been left in their original places.
Prior to development, the town was home to agricultural practices, with farmland ranging from the north to the south adjacent to River Wells. The main facilities were located on the western side of the town, which was accessible by two roads—Mansion Lane and Woods Drive. The farm house and post office were situated on the former road, while the old factory could be seen in the middle of both roads on the west. However, the mansion house and mansion garden stood at the center of town on the south side of farmland.
Following reconstruction, the town has become much more modern, allowing more people to accommodate and practice business. In terms of access, Mansion Lane has been extended further eastward, with the bridge being constructed over the River Wells. Moreover, the brand-new Queens Drive has been introduced, starting from the bend on Woods Drive at the expense of the farmland. According to the main structures, the commercial sites have been built at Queens Drive, where additional post offices could be observed. Additionally, at the expended mansion Lane, new houses have been lined on either side of the road. The old factory has been removed to make way for luxury flats, while the mansion house has been turned into a care home. Despite the cutting down of trees, a new park has been established where a farmhouse once stood to the southwest. Importantly, the post office adjacent to this new park and the mansion garden at the center have been preserved.
