The given set of diagrams illustrate the transformation of the Bell Hill Farm in 1976 into an Environment Centre over a 30 year period.
Overall, there have been major changes to the layout over the span of three decades with the exception of the farmhouse and the road that is shaped like the letter T.
If the layout of the Bell Hill Farm is observed, there is a storage for farm machinery at one corner next to the main road and the main road leads into the major parts of the farm. The farmyard comprising of barns is to the north of the farmhouse. The animal and bird areas where the cows reside and the chickens could be observed are situated to the north-east and east of the farmhouse respectively.
If the Environment Centre plan in 2006 is observed, the storage space for the farm machinery is converted into a parking space where cars could be parked. On entering the centre from the main road, there’s the multimedia room and the recreation area occupying the space of the farmyard 30 years ago situated to the north of the farmhouse. Also, the cow sheds and the chickens have been replaced by a student residential facility that is located to the north-east of the farmhouse.
