The plan illustrates how the waterfront area of a city changed following a development project.
Overall, there has been a noticeable decrease in the number of elements represented on the map. One of these changes was the four container ship piers, which were located in the west, and were converted to three pleasure boat marinas. Additionally, three warehouses in the south-west were transformed to only one hotel.
At the beginning, the factory could be seen to the west of the map, and the containers were laid next to it on the right side. Just below it, the three warehouses were, and they were positioned one below another in order, ending with another factory, which stood in the south. Finally, the ferry terminal was located in the east-north, and two other factories were arranged sequentially. Furthermore, the harbour and the river could be found in the centre and in the east-south, respectively.
Regarding projects that have been done after the factory became a park, and the four container ship piers were transformed to a pleasure boat marina. Then, the warehouses were demolished and a hotel was built in that place. A factory in the south was also removed when an apartment building was constructed. The ferry terminal stays in the same place, but factories below it have been converted to a port and another apartment building. In the final stage, the harbour and the river remained unchanged, while the office tower was built in the south-east.
