The maps show spectacular developments which took place in the seaside resort of Templeton between 1990 and 2005.
In 1990, the town was a much greener residential area with a large number of trees but during fifteen years the town was transformed to the urban area. The most noticeable changes is that all trees were cut down apart from three trees. In the southern west of the map individual houses were flattened and built new accommodation instead of the houses. New way was built in the left corner of the map.
Only some homes of audience nourthern east of the area remained. New modern enormous shopping center was built instead of the few trees and houses in the middle of the area. In the right corner of the map new ferry was built and new factory built close it. In the north of the map single large house was demolished and built new double skyscraper structures.
Overall a comparison of the two maps reveals a convert from minor rural area to giant urban landscape.
