Dear Mr. and Mrs. Collins,
I am writing in reply to your invitation to attend Chris’s birthday. I know that Chris has been waiting for his 21th birthday for years now, and I am sure that he will be mesmerized by your exquisite gesture to throw him a surprise party.
Although I was eager to take a part in this lovely celebration, unfortunately, I will not be able to make it. Since my final exams have been scheduled for next month, I have been cramming to get prepared for these last semester’s assessments. I need to pass them with flying colors in order to be eligible for a scholarship in Liverpool University. However, I am truly ready to help in the party’s set up by any means, whether to arrange catering or to communicate with Chris’s other friends on your behalf.
Additionally, I am organizing a trip to Australia as soon as I finish my academic year. I actually have a list of activities to enjoy with Chris. I know he is into photography these days. Therefore, I have got us both enrolled in a new course about photography art basics, that will be held in your province next April.
Finally, I am looking forward to spending a family day with you in the near future.
Regards,
Ghada
