The chart compares different aged consumers who shopped online in Australia in two years: 2007 and 2009. In brief, this is clear that in latter year, number of online shoppers slightly increased in every age category. In addition, this number had down from 31% to 25% and 22%, between people who aged 36-45 and 46-55 respectively. As individuals grow older, their number fall to below than 10%.
In 2009, all groups’ percentage demonstrates a minor increase. Young adults and teenagers amount become around 23%, while adults 33%, this implies that their number still more 10% than the first group. The highest rate of two years and all ages, reach the old adults, with almost 40%. Another important point is that elderly individuals remain to consider as the lowest one.
