The maps provide information about the transformations in the Bill Hill farm in 1976 and 2006. The farm became more user-friendly with the conversion of storage for machinery into the parking area. Additionally, the place for the cows and chickens was converted into student housing.
Focusing on the farm, Bell Hill Farm first, there was storage for the machinery in the north-west, below the road. A barn, which included corn and other crops, was in the north, while the place for cows and chickens was on the east, and the farmhouse was located on the south side of the map. Additionally, in the centre was a farmyard.
Talking about the Environment Centre, a car park was built, which resulted in the disappearance of the storage for the machinery, and the barn was replaced by a multimedia room. A farm yard made way for the recreational area, student housing in the south, which was previously occupied by cows and chickens. The farmhouse and road, however, remained unchanged.
